2015-2016. Cloth and yarn: mordant-dyed cotton. Paper: machine-made.
Cover size: 17 ╳ 11cm.

These notebooks were bound with cotton cloth and yarn that were dyed with a technique similar to the old method. The dyed yarn was bundled and twisted with undyed yarn into a string. The way of this binding is the style of a traditional Indian account book or ledger, bahi khata.
Notebooks in bahi khata style are also made using block printed cloths with various patterns today.
