The fort rising on the top of the rocky hill, Somagiri or Swangiri is Jalore Fort. It is also known as Somgarh or Sonalgarh.

The fort was under the control of several Rajput dynasties and Muslim rulers in different times. The palace, Jain and Hindu temples, dargah, etc. remain on the hilltop. We can’t have those views until we go up several steps and pass through the last gate!
