The mansion of Seth Hukumchand Jain (1874-1959) called Sheesh Mahal

Adjacent to building is a Jain temple, Kanch ka Mandir which Seth Hukumchand began to build around 1903. He was a philanthropist and accomplished a great achievement in business. He established cotton mills in Indore and a jute mill in Calcutta. He was a pioneer in Swadeshi industry (habitual use of domestic products).
